Pink dress! Hawaiian print! And literally cherries on top. It doesn’t get much cuter than this, folks. Michelle and Chris had an intimate wedding in Toronto at the Cosmopolitan hotel. It’s always a joy to photograph a small wedding especially when everyone makes you feel like part of the gang like these folks did.
App’s Mill, it’s taking everything I’ve got to not make another joke about appetizers. Despite the lack of cheesy bread, I was really digging this place (I did it, and I’m not sorry.) Barbara and Carson were so great to shoot. They were so relaxed and fun, it was just the ideal. Carson even humoured me while I ranted about the price of winter tires. The late fall sun was hitting the river beautifully, we took full advantage. App’s Mill had a nice selection of bridges: a big one and a small one. If I remember correctly, the big one had no name and the small one was called “Eagle Talon Bridge” or something cool like that. This shoot felt like hanging out with some friends, even though we had all just met. Barbara and Carson both have a great sense of humour and are so natural together, and that chemistry is so visible in the photos, I just love it! Looking forward to their wedding!
I had never heard of the Linear Trail in Cambridge before Amanda and Will selected it as their engagement shoot location. I had many questions: Just how linear was this trail? Who is Bob McMullen? Well, I guess just the two questions. Turns out the Linear Trail had a bit of a bend, and I never found out a thing about Bob.
Amanda and Will, true sweethearts. Not a moment without a smile on their face. Even when I said “serious face” you could still see a little grin. We had a great time exploring the clearings of the trails, skipping some stones, and cracking some jokes. The Grand River and the fall trees provided a beautiful backdrop for us. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding!
