Derek O’Donnell has had a camera in his hands since his early teens. His first shots were of the people closest to him—his friends skateboarding and portraits of his grandmother in her kitchen. All these years later, his aim is still to authentically document moments of joy, affection, and togetherness.

Derek’s technical skills, keen artistic eye, and friendly demeanor are best employed at weddings; on your wedding day, Derek wants you to have fun and feel at ease while he takes beautiful, natural photos of you. With over fifteen years as a professional photographer and over a decade working as a wedding photographer, Derek has collaborated with a wide range of clients from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and sexual and gender expressions and identities.
